A resident Sausalito
artist, specializing in portrait drawing and classical portrait painting,
Georgianna
is
gifted with an ability to capture a stunning likeness, infused with personal
spirit. In addition to Classical portraiture, other figurative paintings and
drawings are included in her portfolio, complimented with chosen subjects of the
surrounding landscape and locale.
Her media emphasis is pastel, and pen &; ink drawings. She is also very proficient in oils and watercolors. Drawn to subjects in the ethnic diversity of Bay Area people, as well as those encountered in her world travels and life experiences, she is also known for her mystical, imaginative paintings, which include figures and nudes.
Her portraits,
drawings and paintings have become prized, in the collections of many
musicians,
as she has created hundreds of artworks, onsite of live musical performances.
For many years, she
conducted art workshops and taught art seminars for
aspiring artists throughout the west.
